About Us
The Connections Program (Connections) is a Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada program that is created jointly by Pape Adolescent Resource Centre (PARC), and Children’s Aid Society of Toronto (CAST) Health Services Department. Connections assists young people who are transitioning from child welfare in linking to primary care, mental health, and addictions services. Connections has a team of a nurse navigator, admin assistant, a primary care physician, and a psychiatrist. Connections also has funding for short-term psychotherapy, and psychological assessments.
To address the issue of limited mental health services in the Greater Toronto Area, Connections started a registry for mental health professionals who are qualified and interested in working with this population of young adults.
