I am a passionate Registered Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers, as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with Honours at Ryerson University, and am currently pursuing an Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Toronto with a specialty in Health and Mental Health.
With my years of experience in the health and wellness industry, I have adopted a holistic whole-person understanding of mental and physical health and wellness. I specialize in treating Addiction and Mental Health concerns from the Harm Reduction model. Types of treatment include Substance and Behavioural concerns (including gambling, gaming and technology overuse), Anxiety-related disorders, Depression, Eating Disorders, and Self-Image and Self-Esteem concerns. I also support clients in more diverse and generalized areas of their own wellbeing (i.e. stress management, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, etc.) My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and evidence-based, including the use of mindfulness techniques.
I am dedicated to my clients’ overall health journeys while helping foster self-care, building on their capacity, and realizing their fullest potential. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental, and safe atmosphere for clients to unpack their feelings and emotions while reconnecting with themselves. “I believe that balance of the entire body (mind, body, soul) is key to achieving and restoring optimal personal health!”
